Follow up on last post. The Dr. and I had a conversation on my dislikes and worked out our problems. As I said before I like Dr. Nwaubani and I’m glad we worked this out. She was very compassionate and understanding of my feelings and I’m glad we discussed them. I went ahead with the procedure and I’m recovering nicely.

Communication skills with the office staff are almost non-existent. I needed surgery and it took several calls from me, THE PATIENT, to get this set up...11 months in fact. They “pass the buck” and say they never received my prior phone calls or say my message was not received. I now put all questions in writing and fax them into the office where I have written proof that they received it. J. Young, The Villages 2/12/20

Long waits to enter examination/treatments. Office manager shows poor manners in deaaling with patient. Doctor prescribed unneeded medication to pharmacy even before we could tell her that was not supposed to be the right one for the treatment., A month ago, the Billing office sent us an invoice with two alleged procedures. Went to office, nobody there willing or able to explain why the charges to the patient when those treatments had already been paid by insurance. Doctor refused to see me unless we paid for what had already been settled by the insurances. Have attempted to talk to doctor, since my treatments are unfinnished and my condition is regressing. Doctor hasn't called. Called them today. Again, no one available, just voice mail to medical assistant. No call back.

She did testing that had already been done by my previous gynecologist and against my wishes....also heard her prescribing the same tests/procedures to every woman that came in ...made me feel like it all was cookie cutter and not taylored to the specific woman's needs

Dr.Nwaubani, Charlene and Carol literally saved my life. I have a history of UTI's which leads me to Sepsis which is a life threatening event. I literally showed up on their doorstep in crisis. Dr. Nwaubani saw me with many patients waiting to be seen. She got me to the right people immediately. I am grateful for the care I received from this group of ladies. I am incredibly grateful. My whole career was spent working with the medical field. I walked with stars. I know a star when I seen. I expect stars and I have it in this team!

Office manager is rude, uneducated, no medical background but thinks she is Gods gift to this office. Staff is unfriendly! The Dr will NEVER call you after surgery nor can you talk to her if you needed to. Billing is a joke! High level office visits being billed to insurance even though the dr was not even in the building. Dr has great knowledge n is a good surgeon but the details surrounding your visits is horrible.

My first visit was disappointing with a very long wait and brief visit with the doctor. On the second visit I had a procedure done that had not been explained to me in advance. The antibiotic prescribed was one I listed I was allergic to. I returned reluctantly on my referring physician's advice. I met with Dr Nwaunbani personally and she was very understanding and professional. She apologized for mistakes made by her personnel and explained the nature of her practice to me in detail and her personal goals for the treatment of her patients. I set up my next appointment, was given a written description of the procedure and advised it would be performed by DR Nwaubani personally. I appreciate the time she spent with me today and feel confident to be in her care.

No one will call you back. Some of my other Drs. would of fired this office person. Even if they don’t take anymore patients they should have the decency to call you back. I guess I will go in person to see who’s really in charge over there! Otherwise, I should look for another provider because this may be an indication of how the doctors office is run. It’s enough to make you run away while you’re ahead!

Dr. Nwaubani is both knowlegeable and personable. Each time I have seen her, she has gone out of her way to answer all the many questions I have. The last time I went, she even took a pad of paper and drew a diagram to make sure I understood what she was explaining. I never feel rushed and I trust her advice. I most definately will continue to use her as my OB/GYN.
