Patient Comments (1)
Four years ago, Urjeet Patel diagnosed me with tonsil cancer based on an abnormal CT scan. He wanted to perform a radical tonsillectomy as soon as possible. I sought a second opinion from U of C (no cancer) and a third opinion for Mayo Clinic in Rochester (no cancer; just inflammation from allergies). Four years later, I am just fine and never had cancer to begin with. When I tell friends this story, they are horrified. I don't know how someone could be so sure about such a wrong diagnosis.
