having just met him for a consultation regarding knee pain I must admit I was very impressed by his demeanor and willingness to listen and understand my lifestyle-waiting now for MRI results but I am confident that whatever we decide will be a good outcome and I will be back to normal in a relatively short time. As an avid walker that is important to me. l

Had ACL surgery. I tend to like to be overly informed and have a lot of questions. Dr Welch did a great job with surgery and took the time to answer all my questions about the surgery and my recovery. Im excited to think that before too long I will be back to the activities I love

Highly recommend Dr.Welch. The care and concern from the very first visit, to the day of surgery for a torn rotator cuff and follow up visits has been outstanding. I would highly recommend him . We traveled from Manchester to Portsmouth and it was well worth the trip.

I went in and had a lateral tare in me knee.... one week hed tell me that, the next week he'd tell me it was a possible tare and he didnt know. So glad i didnt get the surgery from him, heard a couple horror stories about him. My work made me go see someine else because they got fed up with it. The other dr told me withing 15 mins everything i needed to know and explained things. Welch was going to give me a surgery i did not need.

I had a great experience with Dr. Welch, his team, and my total knee replacement. The entire process has exceeded my expectations, and although I will try to avoid becoming a regular, he will certainly be the Doctor I go to should I need more orthopedic aid.

Did a wonderful job explaining my hip condition and did a thorough job with the surgery that I had hardly any pain at all. Recovery was what I would call much easier than expected. I have now messed up my knee and have headed back to see him. Waiting to find out what the outcome is but either way I know that he will get me back to full speed in no time.

Just had shoulder surgery. Very minimal pain. Five days later no pain. Shoulder is great. So happy Dr. Welch performed great surgery. This was the second surgery Dr. Welch performed on me. First one was hip arthroscopy which was a long procedure with a fantastic outcome. Other doctors from the Boston area declined to perform this procedure on my hip due to my age ( 56 ) because some felt the outcome would not be good. Well hey we're wrong and the outcome was great. Shoulder surgery was great.??
