Nightmare!! Would not see me for consultation after scheduling, and sends in a P.A. that threatened me instead of explaining the procedure, says its not recommended, after threatening again "I won't be holding the knife", & "well, who knows what can happen in surgery" - Who says these things?

I have had two surgeries with Dr Smith . Everyone on his team is special. I'm 70 and have seen a fair number of doctors in my life and have ever had the kind of confidence in anyone that I do with Dr.Smith . It makes a difficult situation easier when you can count on the advice that he and his staff give you. Simply the BEST.

I wish I could say my experience with Dr. Smith was successful, but my spinal DBL fusion was not successful. I have had problems with my legs ever since. I am having a revision done in two days, and I am scared. I remember waking up after the surgery he did on my back, and the extreme pain has not gone away. There is damage at L-4, L-5 and S-1. The biggest damage is L-4. I had no leg pain before the surgery, but have lived in pain ever since. I live on ice for my back and legs 24/7.

I just had a cervical spinal fusion with Dr. Smith. He was great, took is time, answered all of my questions. I didn't feel like he was in a hurry to finish the appointment. His PA and office staff were courteous and seemed to know what they were doing.

Such an amazing Dr. He really cares for his patients, great bedside manner, he really keeps you in the loop on what's going on. He explains your procedure so you know exactly what's going on. His staff is amazing, friendly, appointments are easy to make.

Dr. Smith and his staff are friendly supportive and responsive. Dr. Smith is a consummate professional that cares about each patient, treating you like a real person not a surgical case. He never rushes a consult and goes out of his way to listen and include your concerns and desires to collaboratively craft your treatment plan.
