Dr. Goldberg has been my orthopedist of choice for almost 20 years. You couldn’t pay me to go to another orthopedic surgeon. He’s one of those rare human beings with all the right stuff. Old schoolers would call him True Blue. He’s a master craftsman at his trade. He’s not here to coddle you and ease you back into play. He’s here to get you back in the game and ready to win some more championships. He’s kind, efficient, and resourceful. Most importantly, though, he’s a respected leader amongst his staff. God makes orthopedist every day, all day, but he only make a very few true bone doctors. Dr. G. Knows his stuff and stays up with the newest tech and trends. He’s nothing shy of genius. I cannot possibly recommend him strongly enough.

Dr. Goldberg has done both of my hip replacements. His methods and procedures have reduced my recovery time by months. I was back at work in an outdoor type job within six weeks the first time. The most recent replacement was less than three weeks ago, but I'm walking pain-free without a walker or a cane and expect a similar timeline. I picked Dr. Goldberg based on the recommendation of several other physicians. His was the name that kept coming up.

His PT James Grant is unusual, in that he does not force you to go beyond a little pain. I have heard only horrible stories of excruciating pain from other knee replacement patients.

I chose Dr. Goldberg for surgery on both my knees over 3 1/2 months because he has the highest outcome rating. I have no regrets! I recovered from the surgery on my left knee enough so that I was walking without a cane in 2 weeks! I had the same recovery experience on my right knee - walking just fine without a cane in 2 weeks. I’m feeling terrific.

This day, it is really hard to find a doctor that has a concern and is knowledgeable about what you are asking in a doctor. Dr. Goldberg is truly one of those doctors. I started using him about15 years ago with a total hip replacement. Had an appointment with him yesterday with an injury to my shoulder. Again, I would like to say he is one of the best doctors I have ever been to. His staff is also like him, friendly and caring.

Dr. Goldberg was recommended to me by another hip orthopedist from California. He related to me that Dr. G. is known to be a highly skilled surgeon with years of experience in the ant. THR. From the initial consult, the hospital stay post op, and follow up appointments, all exceeded my expectations. Dr. G was kind and caring listening patiently to my issues and occasional worries assuring me that all was well. Now, 3month post, I am doing very well. Thank you Dr. Goldberg.

Dr. Goldberg and his support staff are amazing. Dr. Goldberg is the only doctor in the Austin area utilizing MyKnee 3-D technology which he helped develop and teaches other Ortho doctors! Home PT is intense but in 2 weeks I’m functioning at a 6 weeks post-op level. I won’t have to do any outpatient PT. All that is due to an excellent surgeon, skill, great outcomes, trust and compassion. James and Teri are fantastic PT coaches. I cannot imagine entrusting knee replacement to any other team!

Dr Goldberg "knows his stuff"...obviously among the brightest of the bright in an esoteric field of medicine. Makes a difference being fellowship trained, performs huge volume - what a patient needs in a surgeon - uses top-flight implants, often follows up on any issues himself, has strong and informed opinions. My knee had issues integral with other meds post-surgery; he was personally involved, recognized the issue right away. Not to forget...super PA in Jared, great senior nurse in Sharon.

Very knowledgeable; very honest - when I asked him if it would be a good idea to have knee replacement, he said: “no, your knee’s arthritis is not bad.” He could’ve said “yes, let’s have it replaced!” I liked that. He is courteous and polite!
