Once my dad received the terrifying diagnosis of glioblastoma, we met Dr. Auschwitz, and were immediately comforted. He brings with him a PRESENCE and a CONFIDENCE that calmed my dad in a way EVERY physician should strive to accomplish with their patients. Dad has since had 3 tumor resections, and is LIVING his life with minimal limitations! Considering he is a surgeon, and emergencies come up, Dr. Auschwitz is very punctual! It has and continues to be a blessing to have him care for my dad!

Dr. Auschwittz seems very competent as I have had two consultations with him but no surgery. Unfortunately wait time for first visit was half hour in front then another half hour in back on first visit. Second visit started great, ten minutes out front but an hour to finally be seen by him. Then after ten minute consult his assistant told us to wait while she filled out forms for a referral. 30 minutes later I had to track down someone as doctor and assistant went to hospital for rounds.

Dr. Auschwitz seemed a competent doctor. The front dest and nursing staff were also always fantastic. However there is a breakdown in communications somewhere within. I was unable to safely go through with his recommended procedure due to him/or his PA leaving things undocumented, not following up on pertinent details, not communicating with my other doctors, and filing on the wrong diagnosis. I recommend if seeing this doctor to proceed w/ caution. I however will be finding a new neurosurgeon.
