I have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Mendel have been pleased with all. Have had both knees replaced and so happy with them. Think doctor did a great job.

Dr. Mendel is very nice. He has a sense of humor. He explains everything to you. I had both knees replaced two years ago by him. I just returned from a trip to Disney World. I had absolutely no pain or problem with my knees after spending 6 -9hr days walking around. I recommend him whole-heartedly. He did an excellent job on my knees !

I have recommended Dr. Mendel to family and friends. He is an extremely skilled surgeon and one of the few foot and ankles specialists in the Quad Cities. My joints are basically a mess and he has corrected several of my issues surgically, always with good results. He was open and honest about one recommended surgery that it would not alleviate all of my pain. Unfortunately he was right, but at least I knew what I would be like after the surgery and went into it with my eyes open.

Aug.28,2016 was the day of my Reverse Total Shoulder (left) Replacement. Dr. Mendel explained my surgery to me and it went very smooth. I have no pain and I've regained full mobility and strength. I'm very pleased with the result. Dr. Mendel did an excellent job and I would recommend him to anyone. Can't thank him enough.

I had surgery with him three years ago, and he did not fix my knee, (torn lateral meniscious) a simple surgery, and said, Oh, I could do it again????? We need to do a class action on him, to stop him from hurting others.

Horrible experience. Not counting the initial surgery I had 6 painful subsequent surgeries, all within approximately a year or so, all appear to be due to or helped created by mendel's inability to properly and timely diagnose. The pain I had and continue to have is horrible. Sad thing is I don't think there's anything anybody can do about it, to relieve my pain and the ongoing nightmare I believe mendel created.

Horrible experience. My pain remains unbearable. After the initial surgery, I needed 6 (that's SIX!!!) Additional surgeries, within approximately a year or so, that all appear to stem back to mendel's lack of proper diagnosis and prompt treatment. The pain and misery I have suffered and CONTINUE to suffer is terrible. It seems there is little or nothing I can do at this point. What a horrible nightmare I have to endure due to his inability to properly diagnose.

So many others. Don't go to mendel. My opinion. Just saying, go elsewhere.
