I haven't seen Dr. Ordona in almost 9 years, but it occurred to me that I ought to warn people (especially transgender or questioning patients looking for help) about the kind of man he is. I was a one time patient of his in mid-late 2011. I visited his office because I was experiencing gender confusion/dysphoria and I needed to talk about it with someone. So I could sort out my own feelings. But Dr. Ordona wasn't having any of that. Instead of listening to me or expressing the slightest shred of compassion or understanding, he spent the entire session talking over me and being abusive, belittling my feelings and boasting about his personal accomplishments. I can't recall meeting ANYONE more self-absorbed or egotistical in my entire life. Stay far away, for your own sake.

This Man was not only the best psychiatrist I’ve had in my adult life,he was also instrumental in regaining my independence, letting go of a lifelong battle W/codependency, & helping me to end a marriage, before it ended me. I was a patient of his for about 5 yrs at broadlawns, he also agreed to see my teenage daughter who was struggling with mental illness, but resistant to treatment,Until she met Dr Ordona! I’d give ANYTHING to find out where he is practicing now! Desperately seeking Ordona!??

Stay away from this quack. This guy is a total narcissist! He loooves to hear himself talk about....HIMSELF!!! I was referred by my primary doctor for depression. I was worse when I walked out of there then when I walked in. And I don't believe he knows how to prescribe medications, totally made my depression worse to where I was suicidal. Called the office and spoke with their staff (who are amazing by the way) regarding this, they got me in quickly with other provider, happy ever since!!!
