Went to see Dr. Gause for a shoulder separation. During the exam it seemed like he had better things to do. A bit rude when I tried to ask questions. I was maybe in the room with him for 5 minutes. For my scheduled follow up appointment with him, I saw a different doctor who told me to just to physical therapy at home and that I didn't need to see an actual PT. For context, I'm 28 years old, a powerlifter/climber/swimmer, with a grade 3 separation and he told me not to go to physical therapy. Again, was maybe in the room with him for 5 minute.

Seemed to be in a hurry. Didn't explain much at all and didn't leave time for questions. Asked me very few questions. In and out in well under 5 minutes - perhaps 2 or 3 minutes. One of the worst experiences I've had with a doctor. Felt like I didn't see one. I realize that my broken hand is a minor issue to him, but it has a lot of impact on my life.
