We could have sued him, but were in Calif. taking care of my grandfather who was dying.& upon returned, statute of limitations wouldn't allow us to sue!. He is probably a very competent doctor however his bedside manner leaves something to be desired. I found his way of communicating and answering questions rude and condescending. I don't need to see him again but if I do ever require another orthopedic visit I will go elsewhere.

I love Dr Carlyle! He is a great surgeon. He replaced both of my knees as well as my mother's and sister's knees. Dr. Carlyle is compassionate and caring. He will not coddle you but he will fix your joints. I have and will continue to refer Dr. Carlyle to my friends and family!

I had an ankle injury and booked an appointment with Dr. Carlyle the next day. I had an xray in office and taken to exam room. Dr. Carlyle came in, declared xray was good, poked around my ankle, put me in air cast, told me to come back in a month if it was still hurting, and out the door he went. ...more
