I would never trust this man with medicating any child or adult for that matter whatsoever. He had no problem upping doses even when being told the medication prescribed made me sick. He never considered changing medication even when it was clear things were getting worse, and insisted "I just needed more" until I was as a child on a very unhealthy dose of medication EVEN FOR AN ADULT! He did not listen and undermined my feelings, opinions, and symptoms because I was just a kid. Uncaring &mean.

Dr. Mickelson was condescending,arrogant and unhelpful. He did not listen to what we told him, would interrupt and twist the things we said, and actually laughed at and ridiculed us for the symptoms we described having with a change in a medicine; however the doctor who prescribed the medicine understood and related to what was occurring. Switching to a new Rx, I asked how to make the change since no directions were given, and he said, "You'll figure it out." Uncaring and incompetent!
