My practice covers a full range of reproductive issues.  Fertility is a primary focus of my practice and I have had other specialized experience in treating male fertility as well.   I have had an extensive practice in advanced laparoscopic surgery, including advanced stage severe endometriosis, complex uterine fibroids, and uterine and vaginal anomalies.   Many of my patients are trying to conceive, but many are not, and just have not had adequate treatment in the past to help their symptoms.

Reported by North Carolina Medical Board INCIDENT LOCATION: JACKSONVILLE, FL /// PRACTITIONER COMMENTS: The patient underwent a repeat laparotomy with myomectomy due to recurrent uterine fibroids. Intraoperative blood loss was handled using a cell-saver device. The patient tolerated surgery well, but became unstable postoperatively. She was found to have developed dissiminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). Despite being managed aggressively by myself, anthesiologists and an intensive care unit physician, the patient became severely acidotic and ultimately died due to cardiac arrest.
