Care Philosophy

Ive always been involved in sports as a participant and a spectator. While pursuing sports medicine during my primary care training I quickly saw how important it is that people who experience a sports injury receive appropriate care as soon as possible. Thats why Im leading the Duke Orthopaedic initiative to provide same day/24-hour access to appointments when people experience an orthopaedic injury or condition. Whether an individual is competing at the highest level or simply a recreational athlete returning these athletes to play and assuring their health and success is extremely rewarding. When Im not keeping people safe from injury or helping an injured player return to their fullest potential I enjoy being active and outdoors with my wife and children.Read more
