The doctors are good, however the people that take the calls and get the information for referrals in refills, is asleep at the wheel. Doctors offices great but there's somebody that works in the BJC system that is not only stupid, but rude.

Dr. Norfleet is a wonderful physician - caring, patient-centered and receptive. She listens and treats patients as individuals. Sadly, the BJC primary care system is dreadful. Phone messages are either not relayed or relayed incorrectly. Emails via patient portal go unanswered. Multiple errors in my chart re meds, etc. I love Dr. Norfleet but am seeking new physicians outside BJC system.

Dr. Norfleet and her office are uncaring and unprofessional. Received diagnosis thru email with statement that referrals would be forthcoming. No response so I left follow up messages which were answered with we are not responsible for referrals once they sent. One month later, no referral but a letter stating that she would be discontinuing my care. Nice. BJC physicians used to represent the best of the best. Dr. Norfleet certainly lowers that bar.

Dr Norfleet is very attentative and spends as much time as necessary to provide excellent care. However getting Referrals to see a specialist is unacceptable. You can adhere to all of their rules and the Referral is still NOT processed before the appt. I've been a patient for only about a year and had to cancel two appts. because the Referral was not submitted. You can call to check the status days before the appointment and even on the day of the appointment to find it hasn't been processed.

She serves often as my dr exchange call back because my dr is in her same practice. Over the yrs whenever she calls me back due to a health concern after hours she is rude, short and gets me off the phone as soon as she can. Not helpful when you are sick and already upset. Last time i called the exchange she called back 7 hrs later when it should have been within 1 hour.
