After 6 weeks of radiation treatment from Dr. McElveen and her staff, I cannot more highly recommend a practice than this one. From the beginning Dr. McElveen’s explanations, level of concern when faced with complications, flexibility in revision of programming to address those complications was most reassuring. Her overall compassion, empathy and professionalism make this practice one that I, if necessary, would certainly return to. From the receptionist, to her nurse and to the oncology radiation nurses there is a sense of genuine care, empathy and support. They were always on time, greeted me with a smile and were so very supportive when I was personally struggling. I also love that this practice is engaged in training future radiologists. I unconditionally recommend Dr. McElveen and her staff.

Dr McElveen and her staff were phenomenal. Dr McElveen took away the anxiety that my family and I were experiencing by explaining the process in detail. She took the time to answer the million and one questions that we would ask over and over again. The staff made me feel comfortable in a uncomfortable journey with their compassion and understanding. I highly recommend this office to anyone who has to go this route. Thank you Dr McElveen and staff. ??

I was surprised that the treatments were totally painless. I was pleased with the results thus far. All of Dr. McElveen's staff are such pleasant, knowledgeable, employes. All of them were extremely nice to me and always wiling to listen to me. Should I need further radiation treatment I would choose this same doctor and staff.

Dr. McElveen and her staff were the most compassionate, and caring people for someone being in such a state of nerves. They were so very easy to talk to and they did there best to keep you calm when you see the machines that will take care of you. The two nurses were the best.

Dr. McElveen was so very patient with my father-in-law. She listened carefully to all his concerns, as well as his silly stories and terrible jokes! Her facility is absolutely beautiful. There is coffee, tea, and lemon water. The decorations and atmosphere are very warm and inviting. As a registered nurse I know how environment can play an important role in a person's anxiety. Many hospitals and doctor's offices are sterile, cold, brightly lit places. Cancer is a very scary experience. What a difference she, her office, and her staff made. We were comfortable and well cared for.

Met Dr. McElveen in August 2019 after having been referred by my doctor. I must say I was highly impressed with her knowledge and thoroughness throughout the radiation treatments. She devoted ample time for questions and concerns regarding the procedures. Her staff was awesome and they all took very good care of me during this radiation period. Thanks to you Dr. McElveen and your entire staff for the care I received.

I would highly recommend Dr. McElveen if you need radiotherapy. She is well credentialed and it was evident from day one of my treatment. She also has the ability to explain things about my diagnosis, treatment plan and even prognosis that other Doctors and specialists on my care team could not. The staff are ALL EXCEPTIONAL as well. They also offer information and educational opportunities that cover a variety of topics that relate to dealing with cancer. I've never had to wait anymore than five minutes for treatment and that's almost unheard of these days. This kind of care is priceless especially when you're already a mess from learning of a cancer diagnosis. I will actually miss seeing all of them!

I highly recommend the care given by Dr Tracy McElveen and her staff. They are caring and kind in providing treatment that is competent and professional. There is a welcome peaceful calm here. Patients do not wait in a common area but proceed to the treatment area upon arrival. I travel daily from Hoschton to Snellville to receive care here. Dr McElveen always takes time with the frequent check ups. She makes sure that all questions have been answered. She is thorough in following every aspect of my care. Thank you for providing this very appreciated place.

I highly recommend Dr. Tracey McElveen and her staff at Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia to anyone seeking a Radiologist. Dr. McElveen and her staff were very professional. Although I was receiving radiation for my breast I was having problems with my stomach. I mentioned this Dr. McElveen and when speaking with Dr. McElveen she noticed that the whites of my eyes were yellow. Dr. McElveen recommended that I have my PCP run labs. I ran with her advice and because of it I was hospitalized and diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. I had completed 11 of the 20 sessions when hospitalized. When I returned the staff openly expressed how happy they were to see me and how they prayed for me every day. Dr. McElveen and her staff not only concentrate on the area requiring radiation, they concentrate on the entire patient. I thank God for Dr. McElveen and her Staff at Radiotherapy Clinics of Gwinnett.

Because of the radiation I received at her direction, I no longer have use of my right hand. She did not see me for scheduled visits. She did not advise me to exercise my arm and my shoulder “froze.” She did not seem to have time for me. I was not told I might lose use of my hand. My quality of life is terrible and I stay depressed. The whole radiation experience was terrible. I wish I had been part of the decision making and that I had been better informed.
