This content was provided by Dr. Carter "I approach patient care with compassion and communicate openly with parents to reassure them about concerns. When we face a child with an urgent medical need I engage parents in the treatment plan as part of the team; keeping in mind the emotional impact and fears of having a sick child. We have fun with our patients whenever possible to put them at ease and keep a positive memory of coming to the doctor!"
