If you want a doctor who doesn’t listen and gives you 2-5 minutes of his time during your appointment, this is your guy. If not, don’t go see anyone but him. He is totally uninterested in his patients or working with them. Did injections but gave no post injection care instructions. When complications arose, he wouldn’t talk to me and the nurse they didn’t call back.. Instead I got a letter saying they were ending our doctor patient relationship. If you do decide to see him don’t ask questions

Would never consider going to anyone else!!! He has performed numerous surgeries on me with outstanding results. I have only the highest of respect for Dr. Smitherman & his caring staff. I have recommended him to my family & friends.

Dr. Smitherman performed total knee replacement on both of my knees. He explained the issues and procedures as well as answered all my questions. Knowing what I know now and how my knees feel, I wish I had found him five years earlier. Not only is he a skilled professional, but also very personable. I recommend him to everyone.
