I’ve been a patient of Dr Owens from almost the beginning of his practice. He has the BEST bedside manner! He’s always given me his undivided attention for however long I needed to talk. Super kind and laid back. He just wants me to have a better quality of life and never gives up in his troubleshooting my unique challenges. His nurses & staff are always outstanding! Current PA’s are good as well. A former PA hadn’t seemed to have the same qualities as Dr Owens, and he & I butted heads pretty bad so I wasn’t sad to see him leave. Current PA Abby is my personal fave. She’s a straight shooter, kind of brief & to the point but caring and she remembers details of our previous conversations which means a lot to me. My biggest issues by far have been fighting against the insurance company because they don’t want to provide me with what Dr Owens feels like would be my best avenue of treatment. Dr Owens & his staff fight against the insurance company to do what’s in my best interest.

Dr. Owen's is excellent! He listens. I also really like PA Alexa, and PA Abby. I've been in pain for the past 17 years. I feel like they understand me and they help me to function. Everyone in the front office is super nice. The nurses are awesome. They have all been really kind, understanding, and professional.

Miserable. Awful. I have been through some kind of CNS pain and it took months to get a referral (no one can explain how). By the time I got an appointment, I was not in pain and I told them so. He prescribed a very low dose Loritab (two a day for six days). The pain returned - it lasted four days - and now I am crawling out of my skin. I cannot get them to help me through two damn days until my next appointment. Anyone who reviews my history knows I am not a junkie. I have never even been to a

I struggled with what to leave as far as stars. I’ve been going here for about 6 months and I’m ready to see a new dr. Dr. Owens is pretty amazing but the PAs not so much. I’m in excrutiating pain right now just over the last 1-2 months my pain has gotten worse so I asked for help with it until I finish my procedures with my back well the PA wanted to give nerve meds that I’ve tried and had really bad effects. I get there is an opioid epidemic or whatever but some of us aren’t lying.

I went to Dr. Owens in 2014 with chronic back and neck pain. He is very good. Explains things well, I ended up with a spinal cord stimulator in 2015 And though it works very good. I still need some medicine. So I continued to see Dr. Owens. Until a month ago when nurse cratchit Aka Abby. Dr. Owens PA decided to change my medicine. And bring me to tears. I left the office and I'm no longer a patient. They don't even let you speak to dr. Owens, I tried. I would not recommend this practice.

My son refered to Dr Owens due to his dr was retiring. He was in terrible pain over holiday weekend, so I his mother call early am 05/29/18. Was told with patient & would be called back. No call back so call after lunch and left voice message. I got call at 4:45 15 min before closing. Was told son dismissed as patient, he had signed a form and broke agreement, my son said doesnt recall any such info, he is under care of Physiatrist and not aware of this. God in his notes, what God do u serve?

Dr Owens is a nice guy. Seems to know what he is doing. The lady at the is nice. His PA on the another hand probably would be better has a prison guard. The PA dictates on what pharmacy you can use. No mail order allowed. Also I didn't appreciate the PA ass't called my mail order pharmacy to see if I am abusing my prescription. I am an retired veteran and I will not be treated like a criminal. After today's visit the PA told me if I don't like how things work I should go somewhere else. I did

Dr.Owens is extremely sweet and listens. However, his PA or NP is HORRIBLE!! I have never been treated so badly. I actually cried leaving the office because she was so mean. Everyone else there is so nice. I’m going to find a new doctor because of how awful she was.

Since moving to SC I have been searching for a Dr to take over my care, with back surgery in Jan 2016. I came to Dr Owens facility where I was treated only as a pain management patient although I was having severe pain in my neck and constant migraines. They only wanted to give me pain meds and send me on my way. They did not take time to listen! Went to Dr, Patel Come to find out I have bulging discs from C3-C7 and fluid within my spinal cord!! Go here if you only want pain medication!!!
