This content was provided by Dr. Kitago "Dr. Tomoko Kitago is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Assistant Attending Neurologist on the Stroke Service at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Kitago received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After completing her Neurology Residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, she completed a 2-year research fellowship with Dr. John Krakauer and a Vascular Neurology fellowship at the Neurological Institute at Columbia Presbyterian Medical center. She joined the faculty of Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2011. Dr. Kitago has a clinical practice in Neurology with a focus on cerebrovascular diseases, including ischemic stroke and transient ischemic attack (TIA), intracerebral hemorrhage, arterial dissection, arteriovenous malformation, and sinus thrombosis."
