Dr. Ruiter diagnosed and treated my thumb arthritis. He gave me treatment options; we started with a physical therapy, a brace and injections. While those helped, the pain would always return and based on my work schedule we decided to go to surgery in October of 2015. I have regained strength and full range of motion in my hand. I am very pleased with the outcome. I get a little sting in my thumb joint occasionally, but for the most part I am pain free. Dr. R. was kind & caring!

Excellent Doctor in explaining the pro's and cons concerning you medical procedure. Very good communicator and takes an interest in your health.

We were referred to Dr. Ruiter for followup care in the emergency room. After waiting almost 2 hours to see him (we were seen faster in the ER), he came in, barely made eye contact, and never even performed a physical exam. He took one look at the injury, made some recommendations, and that was it. We did not feel confident with his care and contacted another doctor the next day.
So willing to help you out and make you better!
