Not recommended if you are looking for someone who cares and has patient communication skills. I saw Dr. Ruben after a car accident which seemed to only cause a simple metacarpal fracture. I quickly realized something was not right with my shoulder and hand. He kept completely dismissing but ordering thousands worth of physical therapy in his clinic. With the help of my PC, I went somewhere else and "Nothing" turned out to be a severe SLAP tear in my shoulder and severe nerve entrapment in my elbow and wrist. I ended up having three surgeries but was in the hands of excellent and caring Doctors and I am close to being as good as new. If he would have cared enough to investigate, I could have saved myself months of agony and pain.....Not recommended

Dr Rubin was wonderful with my grandson who came to with a wrist that was misdiagnosed and had healed for over 2 weeks! I would recommend him and his team to anyone they were awesome! They took great medical care and treated him with great kindness and that 13 year old never was afraid of anything during surgery or his recovery time!! Excellent!! We were referred from the Hendersonville office and they were all just as AWESOME there too!!!!

Dr. Rubin was great to work with on my broken wrist. He scheduled my surgery quickly, and was very thorough in explaining everything to me with follow-up, physical therapy, etc. He did a great job on my surgery, the scar is minimal even though it is about 4 inches long. Very pleased with the whole staff at his office.

It was recommended that I see Dr. Rubin when a growth on my finger was diagnosed as a cyst. He is very knowledgable and caring. His diagnosis was that surgery was necessary. He took the time to explain the procedure and post operative details. After the surgery he let my husband know that the surgery was a success. All the followup visits were very informative. Dr. Rubin always took his time. His staff, and nurse, Cameron ,are very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Rubin.

Dr. Rubin just recently joined the Hughston Orthopedic Group here in Nashville, TN as their hand and wrist specialist, so today was my first visit with him. Having recently developed serious, continual pain in my hand, wrist and forearm with no relief from previous treatments, Dr. Rubin explained what was happening and the failed treatments that now surgery is the next step. He was articulate, professional and knowledgeable. He will be doing my surgery in March. Very pleased with him.

Dr. Rubin is so kind and patient. He never makes us feel rushed and we always have all of our questions answered. I appreciate the extra time he spends with my son rather than popping in for a minute and then shooing us out the door.

I am still dealing with the post op pain. It seems like Dr. Rubin doesn’t believe in pain or doesn’t believe his patients. His bed side manners are not good at all, and he is extremely rough and not caring at all.

My husband had struggled with pain in his middle finger for over a year. He went to see another doctor in the area and was told nothing was wrong with it. It was evident something was wrong as his finger was swollen and beginning to turn and look crooked. Dr. Rubin thoroughly examined his finger, listened, asked many questions then provided him several different options for plan of care. We would highly recommend Dr. Rubin for your hand and upper extremity orthopaedic needs.
