I went to see Dr Prochnow because of a back problem. I walked in his office using a walker. I told him what I might have done to injure myself; he did not examine me. He said I would be fine in 3 months and I did not need a walker. He prescribed pain medication and dismissed me. I made an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on Pensacola. He examined me, took x-rays and showed me the pics of my spine. I had severe arthritis & bulging disc and spinal stenosis. Prochnow is a quack.

Dr. Prochnow performed 2 total hip replacements for me. First November '16 and second June '17. He was thorough in his explanation and routes to take with respect to the degenerative condition that I had. His approach has been of concern and to provide me information to make an informed decision without bias. Both surgeries have been a success for me. His expert skills as a surgeon mitigated my constant pain and I now have the opportunity to have a truly improved quality of life.

Took my son to see Dr Prochnow for his leg. He seemed unconcerned and just said come back in a year. I'm happy I went for a second opinion because my son's diagnosis turned out to be very serious and has to have surgery. I would never recommend him.
I would recommend Dr. prochnow to my friends and family. Prochnow has a very well bed side manner. Dr. Prochnow is very caring and he took his time to make sure I understood all nonoperative and operative options before having surgery on my shoulder.

He did a fantastic job of repairing a shattered wrist. I was back to work a month after surgery. I now have lots of titanium, but the wrist is sturdier. I've already recommended him to everyone I know.

Dr. Prochnow is an excellent surgeon and did a great job fixing my serious tibia/fibula ankle break. He has a great bedside manner and takes enough time to listen to your concerns. His staff is great too, friendly and professional. He advised me to go to physical therapy, which I did. Now, nearly 3 months after surgery, I can walk fairly well without crutches. I have already recommended him to several people. Dr. Prochnow is a great asset to this area.
in Pace, FL |
I was very unhappy with his response. Didn't even look at arm, or x ray and said just learn to live with it.
