Poorly managed office
I made an appointment directly with his office by phone after confirming the cost for a basic dermatology checkup. A week or two later, I showed up at the appointed time, and was told that I wasn't on the schedule. There was no apology or even, it seemed, basic empathy or sense of responsibility for the error. Weird, but not the end of the world, so I show up again for the rescheduled appointment only to be told at the billing station that the price would be higher -- even though the doctor's quick checkup took all of maybe 10 minutes. I asked for an explanation but was told that they couldn't explain it to me. I asked to speak to the manager. She, too, couldn't give me an explanation. I asked her to check with the doctor and get back to me. I then paid the amount that I had been quoted on the phone but never heard back from the manager about the additional amount they were charging. Instead, I received a bill for the remainder with no explanation again.

Precise, punctual, professional
Dr. Perkins has been my family’s dermatologist for more than 15 years. His encyclopedic ability to quickly diagnose and solve a problem is astonishing. He moves quickly and efficiently but still takes the time to listen to your concerns. He’s a compassionate man who cares deeply about his patients having positive health care outcomes. You’d be hard pressed to find a better dermatologist than Dr. Perkins. He’s THAT good.

Efficient and thorough!
Dr. Perkins is a fantastic professional! After dealing with a mediocre dermatology department of a hospital where I saw a different resident at each visit, he is a breath of fresh air. Six months go by quickly
I see Dr. Perkins twice a year. He and the team on I Steet are always professional. The wait is short and Dr. Perkins gives you his full intention. I’ve gone here for decades even though it’s about 20 miles from my home.

Dr. Perkins genuinely cares about helping you and will give his matter of fact opinion with little fluff. Highly recommend if you want a good doctor who will tell you like it is. Helped me tackle not only my adult acne and rosacea but also very thorough with annual skin checks, even taking photos of trouble spots to compare between visits.
