Dr. Nida says...

As a general neurosurgeon, Dr. Nida treats adult neurological disorders. This includes complex spinal problems using microscopic and minimally invasive spinal surgical techniques. He also treats vertebral osteoporotic or pathological fractures with Kyphoplasty.

Seeking a neurosurgeon for back and neck problems doesn't necessarily require surgery. He prefers to treat patients with the least invasive treatments to the point where surgical intervention might be needed.

Dr. Nida says...

To support my care philosophy, my expertise is in management of complex spinal problems involving the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar sacral areas, and, pain from vertebral osteoporotic or pathological fractures that have been successfully minimized with Kyphoplasty.

Minimally invasive surgical procedures to treat conditions of the spine and brain are used,  including Gamma Knife and computer assisted stereotactic guidance.

Traumatic brain injury is an area of specialty, including research in the field.
