I had an after-hours visit, and so it made sense that the wait time was longer. Once I was with the doctor, he was very thorough and spent all the time I needed with him, even though I'm sure he'd rather have been done for the day and gone home to his family.

I would recommend Dr. Furness for a family medicine doctor. He is very knowledgeable and very thorough in his evaluations. I can depend on him to do what is right and best for his patients. The waiting time is very short and the office staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He recently did a very excellent wellness checkup and gave me a referral to have my cancerous prostate removed by a specialist.

I chose Dr. Furness because he was a DO and I like a flexible plan for my health. I've only seen him once but he seemed to hear all of my comments and made recommendations accordingly although keeping up with record keeping as the visit progressed prevented a more personal experience. A standard practice. At my first visit the doc seemed to be running behind a bit but I don't expect that to be the case all the time. I need another visit to more precise in my evaluation.

Dr. Furness is a good Dr. but is follow up is very lacking. I had a CT scan 2 weeks ago and he called me back the next day to tell me that I would need a MRI with Contrast. I had the scan a week ago and have not herd a wood back. I have sent him 3 Messages and they have all gone to customer support. I have called in to ask if I need to make an apt. for follow up and again no response. Like I said he is a good Dr. just no follow up leaving me wondering what I need to do???
