I could not believe it when the PA (Ruth) hand wrote the notes of our meeting....they don’t do digital which means they don’t share these notes with other doctors (my nephrologist was not happy about this). Dr Brodie is very thorough but since he is concierge, I only saw him once a year and the PA the other visits. The front office person who called me to say that I missed my appt on new year’s eve and is charging me $79 acted like I should pay penance and told me there were no openings to be had in up coming months so I have switched to another endocrinologist. I had 12 vials of bloodwork done and needed to see someone re the results and was lucky to find another doctor.

Misread my thyroid biopsy . Read it in reverse. Skipped over lab numbers from blood work that had meaning.

Pushes too much medication. Doesn’t respect patient’s needs and wishes.

I was terrified because my (former) primary care physician explained nothing about my blood test results, just told me to see Dr. Brodie. Michael magically scheduled me in to a cancellation spot. Dr. Brodie didn’t just prescribe me a pill and send me on my way. Rather he spent an incredible amount of time with me, asking questions and doing physical exam no doctor ever has done. I’m so grateful. And his concern encompassed my medical health as well as my mental health. He didn’t just look at blood work, numbers and ranges rather he evaluated my overall picture and presented possibilities that we are now pursuing to best ensure my optimal health. I am super impressed and confident that I am in the best of hands.

Saw the doctor once before being handed off to his PA who is not helpful or knowledgeable. I have never been so frustrated with a care model in my entire life. They want me to pay $2000 a year just to be able to see the actual doctor when I came to him for a diagnosis? Don’t waste your time or money here, they do not care about their patients.

I have been seen by Dr. Brodie and his PA for 15 years. He and his staff are very professional at all times. Wait time is reasonable at about 15 minutes at the most. My diabetes has been kept under control with our combined efforts. They have also managed the thyroid problem I have. I travel 50 miles one way to continue my care under Dr. Brodie and his P.A. Ruth Girlando because they care about me staying healthy.
