Best bedside manner. Very patient. Put a spacer w/antibiotics in my mother a while back and today did the hip replacement. She just adores him and so do I.

If you have sarcoma, travel to a sarcoma center. (OSU) Dr. Bertrand was very nice and had a good bedside manner, but they don't have a multi-disciplinary team for sarcoma and I was given some bad treatment advice that could have had a negative impact if I hadn't gotten another opinion.

Dr. Bertrand recently performed surgery on our teenage son. He was absolutely top knotch. He met with us prior to the surgery to explain the procedure, answer all of our questions and reassure our nervous child. The surgery was flawless. He met with us afterwards to review pictures from the procedure and explain how it went. He carefully detailed the recovery process and all post-op instructions. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Was referred by my shoulder doc for a mass. After waiting roughly 1 hour to get in the room, the cd would not work on their computer. Understandable. He said he would need 2-3 days to receive the new disc and look at both MRI's and would personally call me with the results. well here we are 16 days later and multiple calls to his office and the hospital and still no answer. Simply it is still pending by the front desk receptionist. from the other reviews online this is no surprise!

Dr. Bertrand is a great guy and an amazing surgeon. I'm glad I was referred to him. He has really improved my life. He has cleaned up messes left by inferior surgeons for me.

I'm unsure whether it's him, or his front office staff. I went in, got some MRIs, at his recommendation, but never received a follow-up appointment. After multiple messages, and no return call, I'm leaving this review. I've actually considered doing a Youtube video, showing that you can seemingly NEVER talk to anyone; invariably, you have to leave a message, but are seemingly never called back.
