In February 2012 I had foot surgery by this physician. I am currently headed back to surgery to repair the work she did as well as the work she should have completed and didn't. She informed me when she was releasing me that she saw other work she should have done but released me anyway. I would say her surgical expertise should have a negative rating as well as her bedside manner. If you want the job done correctly, don't use this physician.

Dr Maxian performed surgery on my husband two days ago for a broken femur and another bone outside the hip socket. She acted professionally and patiently before surgery, explaining the procedure, and what she expected to see and do. Possible knee damage was discussed and what she would do to fix that. After surgery, she took me in a private room, showed me with a carefully drawn diagram what she had done and what she did and saw with his knee which had been in question. I would highly recommend.

I met Dr. Maxian when she operated on my mother- in- law's hip; (correcting recent hip surgery performed by Albany Med). Five years later, my mother in law is doing great! Three years ago Dr. Maxian performed surgery on my (horrible!) hammer toe. Not only do my toes look beautiful; I am in no pain. I am happy to highly recommend Dr. Tina Maxian.

My sister has the unfortunate experience to have this doctor. She is dismissive of her patients needs, communicates poorly when questions are asked of her and gives substandard care. I will be spreading her experience with every person I can to get the word out. My sister is not a person to complain and had this to say even cried to her Dr. Nothing changed. She also discussed patient personal info in a public waiting room. Don't do to her fix it with duct tape
