    Dr. Perrin says...

After spending four years in medical school at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in NY with a special interest in orthopedics, Dr. Perrin completed a one year surgery internship at an affiliated rural hospital.  He then completed a one year orthopedic research residency at Rancho Los Amigo Hospital in Downey, CA, studying pathokinesiology, stroke, post polio syndrome, head trauma and other chronic conditions.  After spending another year in the orthopedic clinic at Kaiser Permanente, in Bellflower, he completed a four year orthopedic residency at LA County USC Medical Center.  This gave him the opportunity to rotate through Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, Orthopedic Hospital of Los Angeles, Sepulveda VA Medical Center, Good Samaritan Hospital and a polio clinic in Mexicali.  It also gave him the opportunity to return to Rancho Los Amigos Hospital to publish one of the first long term studies of total hip replacements under the direction of Drs. Jacqueline Perry and Lawrence Dorr.

    Dr. Perrin says...

For the last three decades, as a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Perrin has met the general orthopedic needs of small communities in the San Joaquin Valley and the Central Coast, where he had the opportunity to serve as chief of the medical staff, chief of surgery, and a member of the board of directors of a district hospital, as well as the orthopedic consultant for Avenal State Prison and Missions to Baja, a Christian Missionary organization .  For almost ten years, in addition to his private practice, he also ran the orthopedic department of the California Dept of Corrections and Rehabilitation at the CMC Hospital in San Luis Obispo.
