I've been blind in my right eye since 2014, you can imagine how nervous I was to get my cataract surgery for my left eye. Dr McLaughlin walked me thru every step, and eased my fears. I would recommend him 1000 times over, for all your cataract and glaucoma needs.

I just completed my second cataract surgery performed by Dr Tim McLaughlin of the Eye Institute in Pensacola FL (eyeinstitute@medicalcenterclinic.com). From the first time I stepped in the Eye Institute, I was treated with nothing less than care and professionalism. Each person there is in exactly the right place - they all definitely know their business and all actually talk like doctors! Plus, they treat you like a member of their family. Every minute is enjoyable and you're glad to be there. Now, to the Doctor: He cares about you and shows that his mission is to help and improve your eyesight...which he definitely did. The day after the first surgery, which was on my reading/close-up eye (I'm sure there is a medical term for that), I had 20/20 vision. I never knew that last line on the eye chart was actually letters/numbers! Second was on my distance eye and now I can tell who the person is on the very back row at church, and I am in the very front in the choir loft!

I am extremely pleased with my cataract removal and lens replacement. I am only sighted in 1 eye and my sighted eye was the one that the surgery was performed on. I have glaucoma and have had previous surgery in the same eye for glaucoma. Dr. McLaughlin was very caring and explained my options very well. Follow up was thorough and my vision is now better than it has been for several years. I highly recommend Dr. McLaughlin and the eye institute.

Dr. McLaughlin recently removed a cataract from my left eye. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. In addition to removing the Cataract, he needed to consider a previous Macular Hole Repair, a birth injury to the corner, and Astigmatism. He explained my conditions and what he would be able to do for me, I was skeptical. My vision is much improved! I so appreciate the care I received from Dr. McLaughlin and his staff. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing cataract surgery.

Dr. McLaughlin performed cataract surgery on both my eyes during the autumn of 2019 (the second one a few weeks after the first), and I just completed my annual check-up. This report was excellent, with 20/20 vision in both eyes and no complications. It is wonderful not to need glasses either for reading or distance viewing. The care I received was excellent, and I am so pleased to have had this surgery and glad I chose the multi-focal implants and this physician. Kudos all around! P. S. My wife had the same procedures this year, and she is pleased as well.

r. McLaughlin fixed my right cataract a little while ago. I then had 20/20 vision in it for distance! I recently had my left cataract remove and he was able to make a small slit in that eye to help astigmatism. I now can read very well with it. As a result of the corrections that r McLaughlin made I no longer need glasses!!! After wearing glasses for 60 years, I am thrilled!! I would highly recommend Dr. Tim McLaughlin for your cataract needs! The staff was very helpful and courteous.

Dr. Tim McLaughlin performed Cataract Surgery on my right eye in March 2020, and I could not be happier with the results! During my initial visit, Dr. McLaughlin listened, reviewed details about my condition, and informed me what would be required to correct my vision. He described the process in detail and answered all my questions. Dr. McLaughlin is a personable professional who has a great bedside manner. After surgery I could see color in its true form for the first time in a longtime! After years of seeing brown & tan when things were actually white, and blue objects were bright blue, I was amazed how well I could see all the colors much better! And, I could see without glasses for long distance as well as reading, except for small print. Perhaps the best part was my Cataract Surgery was PAINLESS, and the improvement in my vision is AWESOME! The care I received from you and your staff was courteous, caring, and professional. I TRUST and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. McLaughlin.
