Patient satisfaction ratings and reviews are based on personal opinions. Before you choose any doctor you should take into account their background, training, specialized experience AND their patient satisfaction to ensure they are the right fit for you.
I grew up in the Philadelphia area where I met and married my wife, Judy. I went to Temple University School of Medicine and then completed a 5-year residency in surgery at Abington Memorial Hospital, one of the largest teaching hospitals in the state. My family, which by then had grown to 5, then moved to Warner Robins, GA where I served in the USAF for 3 years in the medical corps. We moved to the wonderful community of Gettysburg , and I have been proud to serve on the Gettysburg Hospital medical staff since then. During these years, I have performed a broad range of surgical procedures, but have gained additional expertise in treatment of breast disease and thyroid disease. My practice is predominantly treatment of breast and thyroid disease, but I am quite experience in, and comfortable caring for, patients with colon cancer and other bowel issues, gallbladder disease, hernias and other common surgical conditions.
