Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Iorio "Conditions of the hand and upper extremity can be quite debilitating. I am humbled by the opportunity to improve an individual's quality of life. With the understanding that no two patients or conditions are alike, I attempt to tailor the care of each of my patients to their specific needs. My treatment approach balances conservative medical care with state-of-the-art surgical procedures. Informed decision making is critical to this approach, and I place an emphasis on education regarding the risks and benefits of treatment options.

-Timothy Iorio, M.D."

Dr. Iorio was able to surgically relieve De Quervain's tenosynovitis that had been causing serious pain for 6 months. I had been bracing prior to seeing him for 4 months. We tried a cortisone shot, but it didn't work for me due to prolonged damage. I could feel a difference within a few hours of...more

I broke my wrist and needed surgery. Dr. Iorio was wonderful. He explained everything thoroughly and was super accessible and caring. I had practically no pain after surgery and I did not have to take any pain killers other than over-the-counter ibuprofen. I definitely recommend him. He is great.
