I'm proud to be a physician, and to be a member of a profession created to help others during a difficult time. Patients deserve a surgeon who cares about them as a person, and cares about the outcome of their surgery. I understand the trust placed in me when we go to the operating room, and try every day in my professional life to be worthy of that trust. I think it's important for surgeons to keep track of their individual outcomes, and strive to improve them.
