Dr. Hecker is a very compassionate and knowledgeable neurologist. I am a physician who has recently seen Dr. Hecker for a new onset of severe Trigeminal Nerve pain that he has thoroughly evaluated and effectively treated. I have also previously referred many patients to Dr. Hecker and they have all been very appreciative of his clinical skill and caring approach to patients and their families. I strongly recommend him to other patients, family and friends. I am very appreciative of his care.

Dr. Hecker started off being the most sensitive doctor. Over the course of my two year treatment he changed for the bad. His nurse, Connie, is very rude and non-responsive to phone calls and health problems that arise.

He must have been preoccupied because I did not feel like he was listening to my problems. He kept looking at his phone then, abruptly told me he was going to prescribe a medication I had already been on. Guess he had other patients to get to.

If the front desk staff is any indication of the patient care and surgery results I would receive from the doctors, than I would say to run as fast as your legs can carry you in the opposite direction. To begin with, when calling to make a first time appointment with the highly recommended Dr. Hecker, I was repeatedly interrupted by the absolutely RUDE receptionist asking for standard, robotic information. Literally, I felt like I was talking to a cyborg. Next, don't expect to get in any time

He is the third neurologist I've consulted after recently being diagnosed with epilepsy. He is a very kind man who spent significant time with us, answering all kinds of questions, and explaining things we didn't even think to ask. I would highly recommend him.

I found Dr. Hecker on this site, and based on the reviews, decided to give him a try. Y'all did not let me down! He is hands down, one of THE sweetest doctors! This was my first time seeing a neurologist & I was nervous of being judged (based on my size) but he was so reassuring and genuinely caring. He didn't play any guessing games. Immediately sent me to get an MRI. Thankfully all was clear so there was no need to continue seeing him, but those 3 visits I had with him were amazing!

I started receiving treatment from Dr. Hecker in 2011 for severe migraine headaches. He is well prepared for my visits by having the most current resources ready which are relevant to my unique medical situation. I have had to manage migraine pain since I was seven years old, so I have experience with many neurologists. I can say with confidence that Dr. Hecker is without peer in his field. He has dedicated the time to making me feel very important as both a person as well as a patient.
