Dr. Garner actually was nice and pleasant in the beginning, however doing surgery he ended up doing more than was originally planned. His hands were shaking right before surgery and I mentioned it, He shrugged it off. I told them I could not take certain meds and they gave it to me, pain was not controlled, did not have leg boots on during night, they were in room. Sent home for a 45 min. drive with same med I said didn't help. Dr. was unavailable. Ended up going to ER at another hospital just a few hours afterwards with a clot in lungs. Tried contacting Dr. office, no nurses in their office. Only was able to finally speak with his associate Dr. Ended up he destabilized my spine. Corrected one thing only to create another, and my back and pain level have never been the same. I came very close to suing. He had another doctor who was a traveling dr. or something and I was never aware of this until afterwards and got bills. Don't go to him!

Dr. Garner performed a surgery on my husband in 2013. My husband had two herniated disk and bone spurs that had pushed through the nerves. Dr. Garner could not figure out how Seth walked into the hospital. We followed his post surgery orders and my husband has been healthy and pain free ever since. We did our research before finding Dr. Garner.

After a recent move from out of state, I was referred by mynew PCP to Dr Garner. I have had 2 spine surgeries in the last 7 years and needed to get established in the Raleigh area. Dr. Garner is one of the best Drs I have ever met. His knowledge and explanation of my problems was impressive, his demeanor kind and professional, and he reviewed the out of state records thoroughly. All office staff professional. Very thankful to have been referred here.

In my opinion,Dr. Garner is the best surgeon in Raleigh. I have been seeing him since before my surgery last September and have nothing but good things to say about his whole team. He is very straightforward about your condition and surgery and what you can expect, answers all your questions and cares about your concerns.

Saw a couple other Dr.s for severe upper leg pain. I met with Dr. Garner twice and he scheduled lower back surgery. Woke up in recovery with no leg pain. I feel better now than I have in several years. I would not see anyone else for back issues. He and the office staff are extremely professional and friendly.
