He tested my husband for his memory problems and we were with him for an hour with him doing memory tests for a short part of that time and the rest of the time he told my husband about how important how unhealthy he was as a diabetic and that he needed to get his metabolism heathy. He talks very fast and Is a bit condescending. We asked for a referral to UAMS and have yet to hear back from him. We did not get the answer to the problem my husband is having.

Dr. Freyaldenhoven is very thorough in his appointment with you. He does like to weed out the simple things in your lifestyle first before jumping into a bunch of different meds which is a good thing. Expect the lifestyle lecture because you will get it... I always chuckle with my friends about this. I suffer from several health problems but see him for migraines and he has always been very helpful in finding what's best for me!

Freyaldenhoven was very disrespectful of my father, talking down to him basically saying what Dad had experienced couldn't have possibly happened. Dad doesn't like going to doctors, but is polite to everyone. He certainly wouldn't waste time going to a doctor (2nd visit to Freyaldenhoven) to tell false symptoms. Dad smiled at me with a "don't say a word" look - but as soon as Freyaldenhoven left the room Dad said "get me out of here right now!" And he has not returned. Wouldn't recommend him.

Dr. Freyaldenhoven has terrible bedside manner, which obviously isn't the most important aspect for a doctor to have, but along with his poor bedside manner came his belittling attitude. I came to him desperate for answers after going through dramatic health turns, and he basically laughed in my face and sent me away telling me to sleep and exercise more. (Let it be known I later saw another neuro doctor who listened and diagnosed me)

Dr. Freyaldenhoven has taken care of me for several years for migraines and has treated me with the upmost care. He reads up on the most recent studies and weighs these into his clinical decisions. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a neurologist and have had no trouble bringing my family members to him.

Dr Freyaldenhoven is a wonderful Dr. His knowledge is great. He is agressive with treatment. But his staff is so awful and hateful - it's not worth the trouble of trying to see him. Such a shame that they give his office such a bad impression.

I've been going to Dr. Freyaldenhoven for about 13yrs. When I first went to him, my diagnosis was fairly new. He had run tons of test (more than most any other doctor would've}, but everything kept coming up neg. He wouldn't give up! He sent me to a specialist at UAMS. Between the 2 of them, they were able to find out what was wrong. He has been handling my care ever since. He doesn't rush thru my appts and listens when I tell him something is going on. He stays on top of any new developments.
