Dr. Duffey is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with current practice in non-operative orthopedics and sports medicine. Dr. Duffey received his Bachelor's Degree at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and his D.O. from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. He served as Class President and member of the Admissions Committee at Midwestern University. Dr. Duffey completed both his rotating Internship and Orthopedic Residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Duffey received The AAU College Scholarship Award, OSU Athletic Scholarship Grant in Aid and was an OSU Varsity Athlete. Dr. Duffey served as the team physician at Westerville North High School for 25 years. He was the Ohio High School Athletic Association Regional and State Championship Event Coordinating Physician, former Company Physician for Balletmet Columbus, and served as a School Board President for St. Agatha School. He served as President of the Medical Staff of Doctors Hospital/OhioHealth in 1999 and 2000. Dr. Duffey was President of The New Albany Surgical Hospital (NASH) Medical Staff in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and served as the Chief Administrative Medical Officer for NASH 2002 – 2005. Dr. Duffey has served on the Board of Trustees for OhioHealth and the Board of Trustees for Doctors Hospital. Dr. Duffey is a member of both national, state and local Medical Associations and Societies. He was President of Columbus Medical Association (CMA) in 2002 and a former CMA Foundation Board member. Dr. Duffey was the President of the American Osteopathic Academy of Sports Medicine in 2000.
