Dr. Bonatus' bio

This content was provided by Dr. Bonatus "I am as proud in helping found Northern Arizona Orthopaedics in the early years and I am of providing life-saving trauma and joint care in Flagstaff since 1995. I practice in the Arthritis and Fracture Care Center at NAO. I find great enjoyment in treating arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, and degenerative diseases of the knee and hip, as well as fracture care, arthroscopy joint replacement and adult reconstructive surgery. I offer minimally invasive surgical approaches to joint care, using state-of-the-art implants and bearings. I am trained in robotic surgery, computer navigation and the use of custom equipment to optimize patient outcomes. I customize each surgery to meet the individual needs of the patient, their lifestyle and activities. Prior to moving to Flagstaff, I served on the USS California, and as Chief of Orthopaedics at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. I advocate for value-based and collaborative healthcare in Northern Arizona, and I consider my efforts to improve the way healthcare is provided in our communities, successful. "
