Dr. Bollom treats patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds, with a focus on comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of knee and shoulder disorders. From simple arthroscopy to total joint replacement he utilizes minimally invasive techniques and a sports medicine philosophy of returning patients to normal activity as quickly as possible.
Dr. Bollom was drawn to the medical field because he knew he wanted to make a difference in people's lives. Whether he is on the sidelines of a high school game or performing surgery, he has positively impacted thousands of lives in our community. And when he gets to see a patient he's treated out and about again, he says it's the best feeling in the world.
Timothy Bollom, MD is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery Subspecialty in Sports Medicine. He completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado. He earned his medical degree at University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and completed his orthopedic residency at University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
Dr. Bollom also serves as Medical Director for Mt. Bachelor National Ski Patrol, Team Physician for XC Oregon, Team Physician for Bend Elks and Team Physician for Bend High School and Sisters High School. He is Medical Director for Cascade Surgery Center and a Board Member for The Center Foundation. In his spare time, he can be found on the slopes with his wife and children or on the golf course, he fully embraces all that makes Central Oregon a great place to live and work.
