Dr Beer may be a good surgeon, but don't expect him to care at all about rehabilitation post surgery. I had surgery on my hand a year ago, and continue to have residual negative effects, including a numb thumb . He has never reached out to ask how I am doing even though I have called his office to complain of continuing pain, post surgery. I asked him THREE times if he would refer me for Occupational Therapy and his answer each time was "You don't need that". I do not recommend him. Surgery is only half the battle. Rehab is critical.

Very impressive. Caring and accommodating. Knowledgeable. Great bedside manner. It is important to him that you understand what the issue is. He speaks to you in a manner that is respectful. Many doctors are condescending and make you feel ignorant. Dr Beer is awesome! What can I say? ??

Right diagnosis the first time, especially for an extremely hard to diagnose issue. Great surgeon, quick and efficient. I have had a lot of issues being very young with a lot of medical issues being over looked, and he took my concerns very seriously.

I have been been with Dr. Beer for approximately 15 years. He's done both elbows, both thumbs and trigger finger. While his schedule is full I would never consider going to anyone else. He is the best.

Just tried (5/11/2018) to make an appointment for a shot in an arthritic thumb he had done in the past and was told next available is July 18. Didn't even ask about the shoulder. That is just not acceptable.

I have had both hands carpel tunnel and trigger fingers fixed plus both shoulders fixed and have had great success with his work. I consider him a fantastic surgeon and confident at his work which make me relaxed when having a procedure done with him and his staff. Hats off to him and his staff. Phil Costello
