Dr. Tim Barron is a partner in a comprehensive medical practice that provides eye care services from eyeglasses and comprehensive eye exams to retina care and cataract surgery. He has been practicing in the lakeshore communities of Grand Haven and Muskegon since 2001/ Dr. Barron completed his undergraduate work at Michigan State University and received his doctoral degree from Wayne State University. Dr. Barron served his general surgery internship and ophthalmology residency at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. He was staff ophthalmologist at the Naval Hospital in Okinawa, Japan for two years and provided care to active duty military personnel serving in the Pacific Rim. Certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Barron is a member of many state and local medical and ophthalmology societies, most notably the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is on staff at Shoreline Vision ASC, Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial, Mercy Health Partners, and North Ottawa Community Hospital. Dr. Barron and his family make their home in West Olive where they enjoy cross country skiing, the beaches, and various outdoor activities.
