Dr. Whalen is very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose my medical condition when 2 other doctors could not. He genuinely cares for his patients. As with any Specialist, scheduling an appointment takes about 2 weeks but he is worth the wait. His office staff is friendly and hard-working.

One of the most compassionate, experienced rheumatologists around. He treats you as a person with a disease/condition and not just a sick body. Very few rheumatologists are as well versed in psoriatic arthritis and I got my life back under his care.
Will not bring my elderly mother back. Waited over an hour and a half. Not just once, its every time. Kept his back to us the whole time. Mother who is hard of hearing could not hear him.

He is the only doctor that knows how to treat Menieres disease effectively. I went to 4 different ENT doctors, and they all did the same bs, except the one at Jefferson Hospital recommended Dr. Whalen. Now I am living a normal life thanks to his ability to attack the virus in different ways.
