Not a great experience. Very nice staff, and Dr. Walsh was polite, but Dr. Walsh never showed me my low back MRI after I sat there and waited for over 2 hours. He told me I needed a surgery for my leg pain. He then sat looking at my x-ray and MRI on the computer in the office where I could not see it and he never once showed me the problem. Weird. I have since had a much better visit with a different spine surgeon, & that doctor seemed to care more about me personally (which matters to me).

Beware. Dr. Walsh told me I needed neck surgery for a disc herniation or I "could become paralyzed". This scared me but I started feeling some better so I went and got opinions with two other fellowship trained spine surgeons - both saw me and my MRI and told me I was NEVER AT RISK of being paralyzed and that I did not need surgery at all. I worked with the physical therapists, and I am completely normal. Great office and staff, but not a good experience with Dr. Walsh.

I had a L5-S1 spinal fusion August of 2006 by Dr Walsh due to degenerative disease. That surgery was very successful. I went to several doctors before making my decision on which doctor to utilize. This one cares, asks questions, and truly lets you ask questions and gives answers. He's not in a rush but is very professional in his manners, ability, and bed side manners.

Dr. Walsh is awesome! I had a pinched nerve for months and he did my back surgery in November 2015. Had I known about this site I would've been reviewed him. He knows what he's doing and what's best for you as his patient. He's readily available before and after surgery and randomly calls to check on you. He even sent me flowers while in the hospital after surgery. How awesome and caring is that? I've had many surgeries before and NO doctor has ever treated me as good as Dr. Walsh did. A+
