Absolutely nothing says more about a patient's level of satisfaction with a surgeon than a return visit when needed! Dr. Viehe has performed both a capsular tightening on my left shoulder and slap tear repair/clavicle trim/bicep tendon reattachment on my right shoulder. The results for both procedures have truly been spectacular and I could not be more pleased with both his level of expertise and his pleasant nature.

Dr. Viehe is easy to work with. I had a more complicated bunionectomy done by him. He listened and worked with me to resolve any of my concerns. The surgery and recovery went exactly as he described. My foot is great now, I can run again, walk long distances, and have no problems.

We first met Dr. Viehe after our son Mikey injured his left knee during a football game. The injury was extensive involving a multiple tendon tears and other issues. During our first appointment my wife and I noticed that Dr. Viehe was very compassionate and to the point. He talked to us and listened answering all our concerns in a very professional and concerning manner.5 years later, his knee is better than ever! He performed 2 surgeries on me: knee & shoulder.Outstanding & very nice surgeon!

Dr Viehe helped save my toe when another Doctors implant wouldn't heal. A bone graph was needed and by following his advice I can walk again with no pain. He is easy to understand, explains everything before you make any decisions and follows closely your progress in the months to follow. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon. Only wish he could be my everyday doctor :)

I broke my left ankle in November of 2016. I was able to see Dr. Viehe, who was highly recommended by the Waukesha Hospital ER doctor. I made an appointment, with extremely courteous registration staff, and I was able to see Dr. Viehe the next day. He was extremely understanding and explained, after seeing the x-rays, what the coarse of treatment would be. He answered all of my questions and was very reassuring. I saw him on a regular basis until my ankle was completed healed, April 2017.

Dr. V definitely knows his stuff but you always get the feeling he's rushed when seeing you. I've had mixed experience with the practice. I first went to Ortho ASAP and while I was seen immediately, the PA that saw me gave me very little info about my broken bone, especially what to do in next 24-48 hours. When I called nurse, I was given different and more strict instructions. Then when I saw Dr. V, he's instructions were different. I"m confident in Dr. V. But feels like patient churn there.
