As a new patient at Richmond Family Practice, I couldn't be more pleased with dr. Veech. He is extremely nice and friendly, while also being professional. He is direct and honest with his answers to my questions, and offers his best advice without being condescending or preachy. One of the best doctors I've ever had. The office staff and nurses are also very nice and efficient. Overall a good experience if you need to visit a doctor.

The worst doctor experience in all of my 30+ years!! I was a patient for 2 years, and the last year things got worse. He will not return your calls, he will jave his nurse called you back if ypur lucky! His nurses will add leave fake notes on your acct. that they called you back- when they have not! His nurse will delisa hung up the phone in my face bc she didn’t likemy tone of voice. I had to called the office 2-3 times just to get a prescription refill- absurd! I will not recommend this doc!!
I apologize that you had that experience with our office. Please contact our office at 804-358-0248 and ask to speak with our Clinical Supervisor or Practice Manager. They will be happy to address your concerns regarding this issue.

Knowledgeable and fine doctor. Highly recommended. If you care about your kids, parents and yourself go to Dr. Veech.

Dr .Veech is the best. He cares about you and takes enough time to understand your problem. He remembers your other visits and makes right decisions for your health. He is familiar with the VA system, as I am a vet receiving VA benefits. I recommend him highly.
in Richmond, VA |
I was fortunate to be able to see Dr. Veech on the same day I called for an appointment. Although Dr. Veech is not my usual provider at Richmond Family Practice, he was most helpful and accommodating. We discussed my problem and he made some suggestions as to what he (and I) could do. He wrote a prescription for me and we both decided that I should return if the problem did not get any better. Dr. Veech was very personable and answered any questions that I had.

I came to the practice because I felt some medical concerns were not being addressed elsewhere. Dr. Veech took a methodical approach in reviewing my history and examining my health and prescribed according to the data. My cholesterol is under control, my diabetes is diagnosed, and I'm feeling better. Dr. Veech asks questions and uses medical data to diagnose. I'm very pleased to have him for my doctor and have confidence in the care I'm receiving now and going forward. He's a good doc.

Dr. Veech was great. I've seen him since November and he has been helpful, attentive, and thorough. Kelly, the nurse he works with, is very skilled, a great listener, and also very thorough. I have been impressed with their work.

Dr. Veech is very thorough. The entire staff is very friendly. My husband and I both see Dr. Veech.
in Glen Allen, VA |

He was rude!!!

I made an appointment with this Doctor and never saw him the first time. I communicated with him through his nurse. I absolutely would not recommend him to anyone. I cannot answer questions 4,5,6, & 7 because I never saw him
in Richmond, VA |
Absolute terrible bedside manner, will not being returning. Felt very uncomfortable through my entire visit with him and felt attacked by his aggressive manor.
Richmond, VA |
I went in with a sprained ankle recently. I didn't even request pain meds but Dr. Veech went on with this speech about why pain meds shouldn't be shared with anyone or taken with alcohol. I'm in my mid thirties I don't need a teenage speech about why pain meds are dangerous. On top of that he continued to list off all of my medical history in front of his scribe. Why does Dr. Veech want to make his patients feel so uncomfortable? Not likely to see him again at all.
