I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Vasdekas and his staff. His receptionist & his nurse are so nice and helpful. I had to call many times before my surgery to figure out scheduling & insurance, and his receptionist Marian helped me with absolutely everything. Dr. Vasdekas is not only a great surgeon, but a great person as well. He is kind, thorough, and answers all of your questions. He knew I was very nervous about the surgery and he made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Every bit of my experience with this doctor & this office has been a 10/10. Thank you all!

I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas Vasdekas since 2003, every office visit and surgery experience has been incredible. I highly recommend Dr. Vasdekas for multiple reasons. In 2003, Dr. Vasdekas and I worked through many tests in an effort to determine that my gall bladder needed to be removed. As stubborn as I am, worked in the stock market, I was convinced that the pains in my side were stress. Well for 5 years I endured gall attacks, leaving extensive adhesions that Dr. Vasdekas had to remove during surgery, along with laparoscopic gall bladder removal. Throughout the years I have referred to Dr. Vasdekas as my "PCP", even though he is a General Surgeon. Subsequently, I made appointments to tap into the knowledge Dr. Vasdekas possesses and his uncanny ability to listen during an appointment; it is rare to find a doctor that combines personal character and patient care, leading to outstanding medical care. And, each referral Dr. Vasdekas provided has been stellar.

I was referred to Dr. Vasdekas by my primary care physician for colon resection surgery. Dr. Vasdekas performed an excellent procedure and my recovery was relatively fast. Related treatments caused discomfort and a different doctor recommended surgery. Dr. Vasdekas' judgement was that surgery wasn't needed so I was able to avoid an unneeded surgery. Dr. Vasdekas has taken time to explain procedures to my family and me. I highly recommend Dr. Vasdekas.

Dr Vasdekas performed my colostomy reversal surgery. I couldn’t be more pleased with the surgery results as well as his bedside manner. He sat down and reviewed the procedure with me and answered the questions I had. He also addressed my fears and concerns with such a caring manner. My recovery has been so much smoother than what I anticipated due to his skill and expertise. Needless to say, I highly recommend Dr Vasdekas.

Dr. Vasdekas was amazing and I highly recommend. We had seen a surgeon prior who said Alex had 3 hernias, after meeting with Vasdekas he was able to see that there was only 1. He did the surgery and was very patient with explaining to me how to do the after care and I was able to call him with any questions

I highly recommend Dr Vasdekas. My experience was as good as it gets. I am writing this review less than 24 hours after my surgery. I had very little pain, I needed no other pain medication when I got home. I had inguinal hernia. I am happy to have friends that have recommended Dr Vasdekas.

I found Dr. Vasdekas to be a compassionate and good natured man who is superb at what he does. I could not be happier with his work in the OR and the follow-up experience at his office. His office is very well run and the team who work there are a very nice group of people as well. This was the first surgery of my life (I am 66 years old). I went to Dr. Vasdekas on the recommendation of my personal physician and feel blessed that I took his advice. I could not be more pleased.
