Dr. Starnes was thoughtful, caring and his communication and follow up with me as a patient were outstanding. Really appreciate him taking the time to evaluate, explain and contact me. The process at Asheville Ortho from check-in staff, x-ray tech, nursing and Dr. Starnes were A+ !

Dr Starnes is thoughtful and caring. I’m confident I got the best care available. Wait times were acceptable. The Front office and nurses are professional and friendly. One of the best run offices I have been to.

I saw Dr. Starnes at the walk in clinic after a not so pleasant experience at another practice. I was hoping for injections and therapy for a shoulder injury, but Dr. Starnes felt I needed surgical consultation first. I am thankful that Dr. Starnes did not do the injections as I wanted, because it would have delayed my surgery. Very kind and compassionate provider. He listened to my concerns and spent a lot of time explaining my injury and he recommendations. There was a student with Dr. Starnes the day I saw him, and he seemed very patient and to be a good mentor to the student.

Just saw Dr Starnes who came highly recommended by Health professionals who basically walk on water as far as I'm concerned. Well, he certainly didn't disappoint me. He was kind and very confident, sure of himself. He diagnosed and treated me in a very quick time frame. In a couple short days I felt the relief I was promised. Very professional. 6 stars if I could!!!!

My 20 year old son went to see him for an xray and an orthotic. They charge you and send you to an orthotic company We should have just gone to the orthotic business first. Doctor sure didnt treat him

Dr. Starnes is by far the best of all the orthopedic doctors I have seen over the years from sports related injuries. He is more patient-centered than any doctor I have worked with. I encourage you to go see him if you have an injury that you are struggling with. He will work with you and explore every possible solution until you are up and running again.

What a great experience! My son sustained a basketball injury, and Dr. Starnes was so helpful. He spoke to my son in a manner that set my son at ease. It was apparent he was knowledgeable with sports and their related injuries. He even did the ultrasound himself in the exam room and explained as he went along. I would absolutely return to him and would quickly refer him to anyone needing assistance with an injury.

Dr. Starnes was so helpful explaining Zaxks x-rays and what we needed to do for Zacks healing. He encouraged Zack to take care of his ankle, but also to continue his sports. We were very much satisfied. Drove an hour and 15 minutes to get there, but the staff and Dr. Starnes made it well worth it! Thanks Again!
