Dr. Stafford's bio
This content was provided by Dr. Stafford "Dr. Stafford graduated from Tufts University Medical School in Boston where he was awarded the Martin J. Loeb Memorial Prize in Medicine for "academic achievement and evidence of basic human qualities." Originally from Southern California, he moved back to go to the University of Southern California for residency, where he was honored by the USC medical students with the "Excellence in Teaching" award. Dr. Stafford's passion for medicine started at a very young age as his father was also a physician. He has worked at kid's camps, mentored students as well as volunteered over seas. Dr. Stafford understands that every person has their own set of unique circumstances and health challenges and therefore believes that the best physician-patient relationships are when the patient is motivated and proactive in their own healthcare. That is why he likes to have a clear and simple goal in the best interest of the patient. "
This content was provided by Dr. Stafford "Dr. Stafford is passionate about helping people, yet understanding that emotional and mental well being are just as important as the physical well being. Therefore, he practices with the philosophy of "whole person" care. His approach to medicine is more proactive rather than reactive to signs and symptoms of disease. He likes to teach patients a healthy lifestyle through diet and exercise and believes this philosophy is best facilitated through a "team work" approach. His goal is to teach every patient how to have and live a happier and healthier life! "
