Dr. Schermerhorn is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in his area of expertise. Very personable and explains things in understandable terms to allow the patient to make an informed decision on treatment. The clerical person has made multiple mistakes in not getting correct information to other providers so that tests could be done causing a delay and or billing issues; poor listener and does not follow through. She gave medical advise to me to cancel treatment without speaking with the Dr

Dr. Schermerhorn was wonderful - very articulate about pros and cons of surgical options for my cervical spine. He had a down-to-earth manner and answered my questions thoughtfully. It was a true consultation without being rushed or pressured in any way. One of the things that impressed me most was that he did not recommend surgery for my specific problem. Most surgeons are of the opinion that they can fix any problem with surgery, but instead he advised other options. He was outstanding!
