His research on chronic wound pain was featured in Pain Medicine News, the nation's top source of information in the field of pain medicine for healthcare professionals. Aside from his research, he is a compassionate physician who works daily to help his patients regain their lives and get back to doing the activities they love. He is passionate about treating the most complex pain cases in a comprehensive, integrative and holistic approach, combining multiple treatment modalities with the most innovative, minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Pontinen also volunteers with various international organizations, including Doctors Without Borders, the world's largest and most important health care related volunteer organization. Saw Dr Pontinen for chronic pain He suggested a procedure he would arrange to be performed After several weeks I contacted his office Receptionist didn't have a clew what I was talking about I asked for the Dr to call me which he never did I have found a new Dr

Great doctor and person. He listened to everything I had to say and offered me a variety of treatment options afterward. I ended up doing a couple procedures with him that went really well and almost took all of my pain away, allowing me to decrease my medication intake. I can't thank him...more

First of all every time you asked Dr. Pontinen a question his answers were typically text book words like he was impressing himself, didn't do a thing for me. Your not talking yo your professors at schools. I thought that was very rude. Speak in lay mens terms.How would you like it if we did that...more
